Magpie

Magpie is a Java web application designed to make it easy for you to install applications on a Java servlet container, and will even help you through the process of setting one up on your computer.  Get started on the Download page.

Magpie is simply a web application packaged in a .war file that will run on your own Servlet container.  If you do not have one set up already, or do not want to install Magpie on it, you can also use the Java Webstart version.  This version will download the necessary files to your computer, and run Magpie using a light-weight embedded Jetty server.  Get started on the Download page.
